Sample shipment
A physical sample is not always required. Digital products and many listings can first be reviewed through access, documents and product communication. If something is unclear, we request a sample.
License usage
After approval, the license applies to the current calendar year shown on the seal. Product reference, license number and validity remain visible for buyers.

Who is the product review for?
For sellers, brands, manufacturers and importers that want to make one specific product more credible for German-speaking buyers.
Can sellers outside Germany apply?
Yes. Sellers from China, Japan, Pakistan, Europe, the United States or any other country can request a review if they want to sell into Germany, Austria or Switzerland.
Do I have to send a physical sample immediately?
No. First we look at product data, links, documents, seller information and existing evidence. A sample is only requested when it is useful for the review.
When may I use the IW trust seal?
Only after the product has been accepted, the license has been issued and payment is completed. The seal is product-specific and tied to the visible license period.
Will the request be saved in the admin area?
Yes. When the form is submitted, the request, product names, contact details and self-check result are saved as a lead in the admin area.
